The $1 Million Dollar Rap Battle, The FunkDetta Mixtape and Future Projects

As an underground MC who has dedicated my life to Hip Hop Kulture I would first like to thank all my supporters and credit them as my main inspiration and the reason I do what I do. A special shout out to The Funky One'z (my loyal fanz, street team, producerz, B-Boyz, B-Girlz, DJ'z, everybody who be blazing my shit on Reverb Nation, Number One Music, iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon MP3, eMusic and all the other places. Also much love to all my sponsors; The dopest Head Shop for Bowls, Bubblers, Bongs, Glass Pieces and etc in Venice - Chronic Creations (Venice Beach, California), Medical Marijuana Dispensary - Organica LA (Marina Del Rey, California), Star Emblem (Malibu, California), Kaos Clothing (Las Vegas, Nevada) and that sunglasses company I always be rocking (not named cause I'm still waiting for the deal to go through).

Contest

I legitimately won the California Region and was advanced as a Top 10 Qualifier. I got props from E-40, label inquiries, offers for a distribution deal and marketing companies. I'm sitting back and looking at my options and will soon make a decision regarding the companies that have contacted me. The plan is to finish up my press kit (adding the new press of being a contestant and Top 10 Qualifier out of thousands of entries in the worlds first $1 Million Dollar Rap Battle) and then hitting that to the label I have my eye on.

I have reason to believe that I was blackballed by the contest and I have my attorney working things out to see if they were on the up and up.

They breeched their own contract and were completely dishonest about several major factors.

Mixtape

Studio time is booked and I'm on the verge of dropping the "FunkDetta Mixtape". Only a few more trackz need to be recorded, mixed and its a wrapped like a BliZzy. My joint'z "Lyrical Warfare (KRS-One Diss)" and "Break Ya Beck/STV Drunk'N remix" as well as the O.G. version will be included in the release of the mixtape. The release date will be set as soon as the project is complete.

Future Projects

Setting things up to make a music video for "Fight The Power" By Yellow Star Featuring T-Dhurr, MC Funky J. The filming will be set late August/ early September and will be Produced by a well respected gentleman who has done music video's for T.I., Pharrell, Kanye West, Coldplay and many others.

Now that I have been in a few documentaries and TV I am seriously considering the idea of expanding my career as an entertainer into the field of acting. I have a few people on the team who are in the movie business and I might work those angles in the city of angels.

What do you think about Funky on the silver screen?

Stay Blazing,

Mr. Stop The Violence, Death Threats and The Reason WHY

I don’t know exactly where to begin. First off, I think people should know I am not just some random guy off the street dissing a rap legend. I was chosen by KRS-One out of a block of MC’s to go on tour during the East Coast part of the Keep Right tour. It was supposed to have ended in Orlando but KRS invited me out west to put me to work and in training. I accepted and that lasted for the duration of 1 year until I resigned my position. I’m one of a handful of MC’s who were mentored by KRS. That list also includes artist such as Mad Lion, Channel Live, Sir Menelik and a few others.

The other day Ms. Menlicker aka ScaraManHaYea came at me talking shit and accusing me of biting an alias of his. I don’t even know what the fuck he was talkin about.

Chump -9x’z Ultra Sucka MC aka "The Human Faulty Data Processor" ScaraDonna ain’t scaring shit and when I see him I’m gonna knock his fuckin lights out cause I’m the only shining, Sunn. Normally I try my best to keep it civilized but theirs always some guy who wanna try and I’m on the ol’ Wild Wild West shit. So kid said he gonna "SEND ONE OF MY GOON S TO SMAK THE FUCK OUT OF YOU W/ THE GAT " and well I don’t take kindly to people threatening my life. I can’t stand pussy fuck’s who don’t wash their own dirty underwear. What was once mono-e-mono now they gotta pull they whole crew (Temple of HypeHope & affiliates, Blood Bath Mafia and whoeva) in it. Its just me and my bad self, I don’t need no help.

Addressing the accusation made by Scara about me "BITING" and lil bit of explaining "What KRS did to piss me off". I’m all ORIGINAL with my stylez. I don’t bite, I rip muthafuckaz heads off and hock loogies down they throat. My personal belief is KRS sent Scara like the others that he has been sending trying to get me to withdraw the project from hitting the shelves and streetz. On numerous occasions he has sent people after me to try and keep tabs and I have avoided detection.

Anyway’s for the record I developed "The Hip-Hop Freedom Fighter" Uziel Aballah Shalla in April 2007 for Battle Rap, which was a contest sponsored by LOUD Records in connection with Pure Games. The persona was created to combat all on-comers who are against and exploit Hiphop Kulture. I was inspired by the three meanings of the name. Uziel= Strength, Aballah= King or Ruler and Shalla = is an ancient Goddess. None of those 3 words have any Islamic meaning and I am not of Muslim Faith, although I do respect Hiphoppa’s who are.

Aiiiiight now onto the Big Question "What did KRS do". It wasn’t just one terrible thing he did, it was several things that he did for me to react the way I did. I was a member of the Temple of Hiphop since 1999-2005 and was a member of the other respected Hiphop Organization and supported them until a few weeks ago when a one-time friend for 6 Years (he is also the Universal Spokesman of that Organization) and mutual friend of mine and KRS’s came at me all crazy threatening me saying "you don't want to go down that road son.BDP IS MORE THAN KRIS,and plus if you are not spiritually ready for the reaction".

So back to the REASON WHY I dissed KRS. The final straw for me happened after my Mini-Van was stolen in Seattle in 2005 during the "MC: Why We Do It" Tour promoting the release of the QD3 Entertainment Documentary. $20,000+ worth of Merchandise was stolen along with many of my personal items including lyrics books I had since Middle School days (which bothered me the most), Sk8boards (trick deck and longboard), Video Camera, Film, and etc...

I didn’t get my van back until a month later and almost all my shit was gone. For some sick twisted reason KRS blamed me for the theft. I was pissed at him even coming at me like that and I told him at his home I piss on that $20,000. He later tried to convince me to come to Europe and work for FREE to work off the debt he claimed I owed. The last face-to-face meeting I had with him was at the Studio when he was cuttin the LIFE album. During that meeting he said he heard some things from a particular person that I was talkin shit. I grabbed his phone and started to dial the number of this person who supposedly said I was talkin shit and he told me "no, no, no...don’t worry about it" and grabbed the phone back. I told him I don’t play that He Say - She Say shit and that I was not going to Europe and work for nothing. He then tried to hold it over my head and asked "So What You Gonna Do then?" and I replied "Start my Clothing Company" and from there we parted ways and that was the last sit down we had. Maybe a week later I stopped by and dropped off a letter of resignation and also addressed a few of my concerns and stated "if he ever wanted to do it right then I would be down" meaning that the Temple was bunk and nothing more than a scam to fatten his pockets, in which he actually admitted in front of witnesses at the old Temple Headquarters in Hollywood.

In the letter I stated "if he had anything to do with the van gettin jacked then it’s on". I did this as a test to see how he reacted. If ya ever had a CD or something missing and ya believe ya cousin jacked it or whoeva then one way to see is to accuse him and see how he reacts. If he acts like your crazy and deny’s it most likely he didn’t have nothin to do with it. If he goes off and acts stupid then ya better believe he got your shit. So it could of never been a thing but KRS’s Egotistical ass had to call me up saying he gonna shoot me, break my neck, kill me and a bunch of other shit along with some racist remarks before threatening my life again. For those who don’t believe me I have the recording (which will be transcripted in its entirity in the book). I also inserted a sample of him saying "I Love Beating White Boys" in Lyrical Warfare and used another sample in the soon be released 2nd single off the Album (name of the 2nd song is unknown to the public as of now). I since showed up at his 40th B-Day 8/20/05 in Malibu driving all the way from Las Vegas to Battle him live on stage and he ran out the backdoor at the sight of me. I did try to settle it with him before dropping the diss. I followed the Overstanding’s which is listed in the The Hiphop D.O.P (Declaration of Peace) under the Thirteenth Principle. It states "Hiphop Kulture rejects the immature impulse for unwarranted acts of violence and always seeks diplomatic, non-violent strategies in the settlement of all disputes. Hiphoppas are encouraged to consider forgiveness and understanding before any act of retaliation. War is reserved as a final solution when there is evidence that all other means of diplomatic negotiation have failed repeatedly."

I feel obligated to bring this forward to the Hip Hop Community. I would of done this wether it was KRS or anybody who done me wrong. I am a straight up guy and my word is only questioned by those who can’t deal with the realness. I hope this has shed a lil more light onto what has been goin on. I will release 1 more song dissing KRS and after that as I say in Lyrical Warfare "ya want the full story then go buy the book, its a collective summary of the year I spent rolling with this crook". The book will come after the release of my Debut album FunkDetta due out soon, VERY SOON.
